Some bigwig politicians taking refuge in BJP?

Jammu Express News

Jammu, Oct 6: As the curtain rises for ushering of the religious navratras tomorrow, Jammu is all set to witness some political revolution in the UT.

Though confirmations are yet being denied from all corners, NC provincial president Devender Singh Rana’s recent adieu to the party’s post has obviously given an indication that something big is churning on the political front.

Rumormongers too are putting up certain high opinions about some leaders soon turning the turncoats, few even indicating a particular clout floating a new party having Jammu agendas supreme in their manifestos.

On the other hand, there is an occasion nearing soon when Bharatiya Janta Party’s senior central leader and presently the Home Minister Amit Shah would be visiting the city of temples, the grapevine suggests that he will be centre of the political development in the Navratras.

While Devender Singh Rana et.al are still not confessing to joining a new party or floating some other political conglomeration, but the names making rounds are of those political bigwigs who have been towering leaders in their respective parties, be it National Conference, Panthers party or others .

If sources are to be believed, there seems all likelihood of these bigwigs taking refuge in BJP alone.

This development comes on the heels of the ongoing Delimitation exercise in the JK UT, the commission is likely to submit its findings in the fall of November or the first week of December and assume the likelihood of elections taking place in JK UT in the month of Mar-Apr.

It is in place to mention that the recent conclusion of panch, sarpanch , BDC and DDC elections for encouraging grassroot democracy through Panchayati Raj in Jammu and Kashmir has already given a reason to understand that JK Ut is fully prepared to welcome the democratically elected governance also, unless something goes awry through militancy or unseen eventualities.

People, on the other hand, are also looking forward to a popular government as there has been frequent dissent among the masses with the bureaucracy in the UT not giving an audience to the public plight.

However, all ears and eyes are presently intent on the political game-changing recourse for which Navratras are being watched as the pious and religious time to take the decision.
