Jammu, Sept 18: BJP leader from Gujjar community Gulam Ali Khatana whose nomination to Rajya Sabha was announced on Sunday gave a welcome surprise at the home of Sehar Zargar , state vice-president Muslim Rashtriya Manch (RSS) and discussed with her various issues of the community.
“This decision reflects the rise of the last person and is a victory for the poor sections of the society,” said Sehar Zargar on the occasion who gave a scintillating welcome to the Gujjar leader.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (a) of clause (1) of Article 80 of the Constitution of India, read with clause 93 of that Article, the President is pleased to nominate Gulam Ali to the Council of States to fill the vacancy caused due to retirement of one of the nominated members,” an order issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs said.
Sehar Zargar , said with the nomination of Khatana to Rajya Sabha , the time has come that the poor and weaker section would get the due empowerment and many of their issues would be resolved on the right platform.
“ I am overwhelmed with the decision that has empowered the last man standing under the Prime Minister ship of Narendra Modi . I thank Prime Minister for the decision and who he is working for the upliftment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” said state vice-president Muslim Rashtriya Manch (RSS), Sehar Zargar.
Gulam Ali Khatana on the occasion said that “Prime Minister Modi has kept his promise to uplift the neglected sections of the society by nominating an ordinary worker from a community which has witnessed neglect over the past 70 years.
Sehar , who has been advocating the cause of people of her area and vicinity is an active RSS leader who has strong connect with the people of the area as she has been tirelessly working for the welfare of humanity.
